EVERY FASHIONISTA NEED A FASHIONISTO

EVERY FASHIONISTA NEED A FASHIONISTO

Every beautifully dressed, chic woman deserves a handsomely sartorial Man.
As you know we have always talked about women’s fashion but this post is something different – it’s about men and women.
Even if Men’s fashion is not so diverse as the ladies’ one but some trends should be taken into account to look fresh, chic and sophisticated. So, there they are: a few this season’s top fashion trends.

Number of accessories should be minimal, just a watch and a pair of good cufflinks will do.

Now look for something that is much brighter: dark purple, red or indigo blue. Find a perfect shirt of these tints and pair it with black pants, you’ll look both classy and modern.

Sugar Lips

Sugar Lips

These days it seems that sugar is everywhere. We know that it is laced in everything from sweets and treats, to soft drinks and juices. Sugar also makes a sneaky appearance in more unexpected foods like breads, soups, yogurts, salad dressings and “energy” bars and drinks. Sugar is added to so many food products because it is a cheap way to make food taste “good”. That is what food research and development teams have determined, as they sample these sugar-laden foods on us and watch our consumption and buying habits. We continue to consume, so these food companies continue to manufacture. Sadly, our taste buds have become so used to the sugary sweet aftertaste in so many of our foods, that we don’t even question why sugar appears in everything!

Improve Your Memory

Improve you memory

I admit that sometimes I forget things and now that I have a baby I often forget where I put stuffs or things that I have to do. Maybe it's because my mind is loaded with lots of things or maybe because of something else. Is it just me or it's happening to any of you too?
Isn't it amazing how sometimes things can bumped into one another at the right time? =) So, here are what the experts suggest us to do to improve our memory. Simple but useful things...

Eat your vitamins B, C, D and E

New research shows that older people who have higher levels of vitamins B, C, D and E in their blood have stronger memory and thinking skills. Make sure you're getting enough vitamin B12 in particular (found in meat, fish, poultry, eggs and milk)—low levels of this vitamin have been linked to memory problems. Whenever possible, try to get these nutrients from food instead of pills. But if you're a vegetarian, over 50 years old and/or taking certain medications for diabetes or heartburn, ask your doctor about B12 supplements, since you may be at a higher risk for a deficiency. On the flip side, avoid foods that contain trans fats (including fried foods and many packaged baked goods). Studies show that people with high levels of this dangerous fat had worse cognitive functioning. (Orly Avitzur, MD, fellow of the American Academy of Neurology)

Play games

Try doing a word scramble, a crossword puzzle or Sudoku against the clock. Giving yourself a time limit challenges your brain's focus, speed and flexibility. Also choose hobbies that keep your mind engaged—painting, writing, playing board games—and do them regularly. Research shows that activities like these help keep your brain function strong throughout your lifetime. (Cynthia Green, PHD, author of 30 Days to Total Brain Health and president of Memory Arts, Montclair, NJ)

Take a brisk walk

Exercise triggers positive changes in your brain, including forging new connections between nerve cells, increasing blood flow and even creating new brain cells—all of which help strengthen your memory and problem-solving skills. A brisk half-hour walk every day can also lower your chances of developing dementia, since it helps keep blood pressure and cholesterol levels in check. Best of all, it's never too late to make a difference. Research shows that even longtime couch potatoes who started a regular exercise program experienced positive changes in brain function almost immediately. (Arthur F. Kramer, PHD, director, Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign)

CELEBRITY DIETS

"When you look in the mirror you are looking at your BEST health care provider!" If you can't get enough dense nutrition to the cellular level, your body will move towards disease rather than health.

How do red carpet denizens like Victoria Beckham, Katy Perry and Gwyneth Paltrow ward off weight gain? With the health industry's latest guarantees, of course.

The Alkaline Diet

Back in January, Posh tweeted a picture of the cookbook Eating the Alkaline Way. "Love this healthy eating cook book!!" she enthused. Clearly, it loves her back; Beckham has maintained her signature svelte frame with a diet rich in fruits and vegetables that curtails consumption of acid-forming foods like dairy, pasta, meat and fish. The goal? To keep the body's pH balance between 7.35 and 7.45. Other famous fans of the diet book, penned by Natasha Corrett, the stepsister of Sienna Miller, include Jennifer Aniston, Kirsten Dunst and Gwyneth Paltrow.

The M-Plan Diet

The secret to Katy Perry's "California Gurl" body? Mushrooms. With the M-Plan diet, Perry eats a mushroom-packed lunch or dinner every day for 14 days, then watches the pounds slip off. Great for removing unwanted bulk from problem areas like the stomach and thighs, the program still allows the dieter to retain her womanly shape—the mushroom meal plan won't effect the bust.

The 5-Factor Diet

Megan Fox is a huge fan of celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak's 5-Factor Diet, which Eva Mendes, Alicia Keys and Jessica Simpson also swear by. The program encourages dieters to cook with five ingredients or less and follow Pasternak's rigorous exercise regime.

The Beauty Detox Solution

To shed her baby weight, Drew Barrymore has been using celebrity nutritionist Kimberly Snyder's Beauty Detox Solution. The program, of which Fergie is also a fan, encourages a plant-based diet and lots of juicing.

Tracy Anderson's Food Program

Celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson recently launched a nationwide food delivery program that guarantees weight loss when combined with Anderson's workout methods. With a menu featuring options like Provençal eggs with eggplant zucchini and coconut flan with mango passion fruit sauce, as well as a separate program for vegetarians, it's no wonder Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Lopez are hooked.

The Fresh Diet

Christina Aguilera slimmed down with The Fresh Diet, a home delivery meal plan created by a Le Cordon Bleu-trained chef. The program touts a vast menu, with meals like multi-grain strawberry pancakes, mango-stuffed pork loin and key lime cheesecake landing on hungry dieters' doorsteps twice a week.

Pink Color

Pink

I honestly don’t think I was ever really a pink kinda girl. Don’t get me wrong, I do like some things that are that color. Maybe it depends on the shade. Come to think of it I do not have a piece of clothing that is pink. Am I the only female like this? The funny thing is, when I was searching for pretty images to share with you for this color.

Hope you’ll enjoy ! ♥

Pink is my favorite color and seeing fun pictures of pink things makes me happy
